Who on your staff helps me get results?
Our Certified Personal Trainers have the knowledge to help you make positive lifestyle changes and reach long term goals. Our staff of nationally certified aerobic instructors is also available to help you with your cardio.

What comes with my membership?
We help all new members get off to an easy start with Free equipment and club orientation. You also have free reign of the VIP facility during operating hours. Spinning classes, and group fitness/ aerobics classes are all included with membership. Of course you also have full use of all VIP's free weights as well as our top of the line Freemotion equipment.

Do you have any nutritional and weight loss programs?
Both nutrition and weight loss would be programs included with a personal training program.

Do you have a Juice Bar for energy drinks?
Yes. VIP has a smoothie bar; a variety of supplements can be added into the smoothies to provide extra nutrients. Red Bull is one of our member favorites.

What about other services?
Other than training, classes, and drinks, we have the Ultimate Spa available at the reception area. We will have special events such as Monday night football and we are offering other extra activities from time to time. We are also looking at assessment software to add this to all initial orientations. Ultimate Spa services are available to VIP members and their families. Health assessments can be added on to new memberships.

How are your personal training programs tied to my results?
Personal trainers are responsible for helping you produce the results you want! Our programs include so much more than just a workout. Included in the cost of your program is a personalized workout, re-evaluations every few weeks, nutritional guidance and most importantly, motivation! This is well worth the cost.

What programs produce the best results to lose weight?
A combination of aerobic classes and personal training. Cardiovascular and weight training should do the trick...in addition to healthy eating habits.

A personal training program would be able to bring the most dramatic results.

Will someone stop me if I am doing something wrong?
Yes. A polite suggestion may be made regarding a more efficient way to complete the exercise. We want to educate our members on proper technique so we reduce the risk of injury.

What about personal training options and packages?
Programs are set standard on a 6 week time period. You get to chose how often a week you would like to meet with your trainer. One, two and three times a week for 6 weeks are the available packages.

Who are the trainers?
Our trainers are educated and certified and/or degreed to help you reach your goals and get you the results you want.

How big is your total staff?
We have three certified personal trainers on staff, 4 front desk employees, 2 cleaning employees and 14 group fitness instructors.

Anyone specialized?
All personal trainers are certified and credentialed. Also our fitness instructors are certified in the specialty areas which they teach.

Who are the group fitness instructors?
Stephanie Kennedy, Deanna Jones, Doretha Maxwell, Tiffany Sessoms, Tracy Rosario, Hadassah Moore, LaTonya Proctor, Shellye Thompson, Kim Quesenberry, Brittany Dickson, Melanie Ricard, Alicia Vega, Judy McNeill ; all group fitness instructors are nationally certified and some possess specialty certifications (i.e. Pilates)

How much variety do you have?
18 pieces of cardio equipment, a large selection of both free weights and strength equipment as well as a Pilates program, indoor cycling, ramping, step, body pump.

What kinds/brands of equipment is it?
The cardio equipment (treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike and arc trainers) consists of Nordic Trac, Cybex and Precor brand equipment. Our strength training and free weight equipment consists of Free Motion and Epic. Precor also provides our stretching equipment.

Do you have dedicated space for classes?
Yes, we have a full sized aerobics room with hard-wood flooring, and a separate area for indoor cycling.

What group fitness classes do you offer?
Body pump, Step N' Sculpt, Pilates, Combat Kickboxing, Ramping and Indoor Cycling.

What is your cleaning schedule and who does it?
The gym is cleaned two times a day, once before the facility opens, and again in the late afternoon. Our staff includes individuals who were hired specifically for this position. Regular hourly checks for wiping down and restocking done by fitness staff.

Do you have any specialized plans for workouts for people with different goals?
Absolutely. All personal training programs are specialized to meet YOUR goals.

What training do I get as a new member?
You will have the option to go through an orientation at no charge and learn how to use our equipment. Right now, a 3 apt is made to review the plan and 6, 12, or 18 sessions are recommended by your personal trainer according to your needs and goals, and then determine how often you need to use these sessions with our trainer.

What are your hours?
Monday thru Thursday from 5am-10pm; Friday from 5am-9pm; Saturday 8am-5pm, Sunday 2pm-6pm

What times are classes?
Classes begin as early as 5:45am and as late as 7:00pm on weekdays; Weekend schedule times begin at 8:15am and run till 3:00pm.

What do you serve at your Juice Bar?
Tea, coffee, juice, bottled water, Red Bull and Monster energy drinks, and smoothies.

Do you offer baby sitting or child care services?
Yes. Child care is available. 2 hours free and $1 per hour or fraction of an hour thereafter. $1 per hour on the weekends. (No matter how many children you have)

Do you have TV's?
Yes. The facility contains four plasma TVs, facing the cardio area and one of these faces the lounge area.

How about personal sound systems or is it gym-wide?
The sound system is gym wide, however, members can wear walkmans and tune to the FM dial noted for sound on the TVs.

Where are you located?
VIP is located in the Tallywood Shopping Center off Raeford Road in Fayetteville, NC. It is located between 2 stores, School Tools on the left and Personally Yours, Hair and Nail Salon on the right.

Are you near any local shopping?
VIP is also located near Belk department store. Harris Teeter food shopping is 2 blocks east.

Are you near any public transportation?
Yes, bus stops are at the road frontage, Raeford Road, but it is not used as a major means of transportation in this area.
